In order to conduct development testing, an environment separate from the work environment was required. Other companies’ services had setting limitations that made them unsuitable for testing, so they decided to set up a system test environment in “applippli DX Pro”.

● Checking stock while out, and sharing between sites
Sales staff wanted to check stock and order information in real time while out of the office, and every site wanted to share the same data. We built an environment where the same working environment as the office is available from anywhere with an internet connection.
● Less burden from VPNs and in-house servers
To break out of a routine dominated by maintaining and renewing VPNs and in-house servers, the working environment was consolidated onto an Azure Virtual Machine (Windows Server). That removed complex server management and VPN maintenance at the root.
● Familiar systems, used exactly as before
Not only Yayoi Sales but also the production management system and every business application had to keep running in one and the same environment. Managing them all centrally in a single environment made the workflow efficient.
● Migration without stopping work
A typical system rollout can take months; with applippli DX Pro it can be in use in about 3 business days. And because it does not depend on the environment in use today, no manuals have to be written and no staff have to be trained.
